sober mood of AVAL APPADITHTHAN - ILAYARAJA'S compositions, I couldn't snap out, Rasa!

'engE irundhAy isaiyE' (I think the movie's name is ajanthA) - duet KJY & some female singer whose voice cannot be identified
Once upon a time I copied this into a CD (based on hub reco ofcourse) but never before could get past the initial portion 'eppadi irundha KJY ippadi AyittArE' painful feeling prohibited me from listening to the song in full in my earlier attempts, hand reaching out to the skip button invariably.
Like the lazy manner in which one day I allowed 'bus Ek tamannA hai', today I let this song continue and was stunned by the 'smooth-jazzy' second interlude!
Once again up-ping expectations for NEPV
singer Manjari sings with Yesudas, App_eng.
Remember ponmudipuzhaiyarathu, Vinodhayathra.. malayalam albums.
She is the one singing oru chiri kandal..... and kaiyetha kombatho
App_eng,

I got only cassettes of ponmudipuzhaiyaradhu and achuvente amma.

My current playlist is actually a compilation of my favourite songs of Raaja in the last 10 years. I compiled this mp3 cd with songs in the 2002-2012 period. Ofcourse I could not put all albums/songs but selected the best of each album. Compiling this cd was a difficult task because of the 700MB limit on mp3 cd I had to ignore some of the songs despite liking them equally as few others. But nevertheless, it is a good compilation. enjoyable!
