Nice one! kumudam 1-pakka-kadhai style-la iruku. Somehow, the end twist was apparent right from the begining of the story :)

Shiva,
It is quite apparent that "I" was an animal.
What you really need is a back twist. The
twist could be that "I" was actually a man killing
a dog that turned rabid or a hunter wiping out
a pack of wolves. Or even a macabre dark comedy
of really a man killing another and and end note
saying, "you expected a cat to kill mouse didn't ya? fooled ya".
(BTW if people have read this much of comments
it is far too late to protect the punch line.)

i think certain words like "paran", "pathungi", "nagam", "pal"..etc made it obvious..
btb, my intention was to make readers imagine a psycho serial killer which turns out to be a cat..but apparently i failed...:-(
the basic point is, when i wrote this story i was actually imagining a cat narrating...instead i shud have imagined a man narrating and turned the last sentence to the cat...appa maybe konjam realistic aa irunthirukkalaam...:-)
aana inga irukkara readers'llam bayangara "sharp"u...yaemaatharathu konjam kashtamthaan...
