Kumki's grand audio launch
After making super hits like Paiyaa,Vettai and Vazhakku Enn 18/9, Thirrupathi Brothers is all set with their next highly anticipated film Kumki's audio launch. Padmashree Dr.Kamal Haasan will release the audio of the film and actor Suriya will receive it.
The expectations are high since Kumki is coming from none other than Prabhu Solomon whose earlier film Mynaa won several awards and honours apart from critical acclaim. Yet another alluring aspect is Prabhu is introducing debut actor Vikram Prabhu, the grandson of late thespian Sivaji Ganesan and son of veteran actor Prabhu as the hero of Kumki . Also Solomon and D.Imman are coming together for Kumki after their sensational musical hit Mynaa. The film is being produced by renowned production house Thirrupathi Brothers.

Agree but disagree when the fingers are pointed ONLY at Solomon.
- the comedy track by GM, Vivek or Vadivelu that we still share links to ?
- Santhanam's NO RESPECT acts gained him the title Comedy Superstar ?
- the comedy by heroes degrading womenhood that we still call it "Kalai" and enjoy ?

I disagree.
Both NEPV and Kumki are quite similar - no story and bad acting.
But the songs in Kumki moves it forward, whereas the songs in NEPV added to the misery.

NEPV is GAZILLION times better than Kumki..Also this is the same world which said Varanam Aayiram is Kaaviyam,Myna Zuper etc etc

Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan together!
Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan will once again been seen together not onscreen, but off the screens at the 100 days celebration of Prabhu Solomon's Vikram Prabhu starrer Kumki produced by Lingusamy. The two super stars were also present at the the audio launch of Kumki a few months back as they have always been close to the Sivaji Ganesan family.
Lingusamy already invited Kamal Haasan and got his nod, it is learnt the Kamal has said it is his duty to attend the family function and also blessed that Vikram Prabhu will become a big star.
The film which hit screens on December 14 in approximately 300 screens was declared a hit. The film's simple story that revolved around an elephant and the music by D Imman cast a spell on the audience. Now with the movie emerging a big success and fast approaching the 100 days mark, the producers of the film Thirrupathi Brothers have decided to invite Kamal and Rajini again for the 100 days success bash as well.
While the director is planning his next film with Gautham Karthik, who is making his debut with Kadal; Vikram Prabhu is already busy with Saravanan's Ivan Veramadhiri and Sigaram Thodu.
