My Collection of Rare Ilayaraja Video Songs (Posted on Youtube)

Dear All,

As many of you, I'm a fan of Maestro Ilayaraja songs. As someone who is very organized by nature, I saved many of the rare video songs of Maestro Ilayaraja over the past few years. About a year ago, I decided to create an Youtube account in an effort to share these songs and bring them back to light before they were lost completely from people's memory.

One of the biggest joys that I receive from sharing these rare songs on Youtube is hearing from other music fans on how long they waited to see these songs and how much of happiness they receive from watching these songs. This encourages me to keep posting and sharing many more rare songs.

I came across Mayyam community few months ago, but never really had the time or opportunity to get involved until now. I sincerely hope you will watch and provide feedback on many of the songs that I posted on youtube.

One question - why have you removed your movies channel? You had uploaded quite a few rare Mahendran films and they are not there any more. I remember reading your comment that the response was poor. But no, I am sure many people would want to watch those films.

My upcoming rare uploads on Youtube

Hey guys, I just thought I'd bring to your attention that I'll be uploading some very rare but really awesome songs from Maestro Ilayaraja - S.P.Balasubramaniam combination in the following weeks (probably in the next 2-3 weeks) depending on my work schedule:

1. Naan Oru Pon Oviyam Kanden (A truly awesome song from Ilayaraja- S.P.B. - P.Susheela - S.Janaki combination) - I was really lucky to get hold of this movie after some research and phone calls to some movie distributors in Tamil Nadu..hahaha! I literally stalked them over the phone for the past one week, and I finally got hold of the movie. I'll try to upload this song on Youtube over the next 2-3 weeks as I really have a hectic clinic schedule till then.

Please remember to download/save this song as soon as I upload it.

2. Athikaalai Neram Kanavil Unnai Paarthen (Another rare and beautiful song from Maestro Ilayaraja - S.P.B. - Asha Bhosle) from the movie Naan Sonnathe Sattam.
