தளபதி என்றால் அவனுக்கு ஒரு மன்னன் / சக்கரவர்த்தி இருக்க வேண்டும்...

அவர் வேறு யாரும் அல்ல... அஞ்சாசிங்கம் அண்ணன் கவுண்டமணி அவர்கள் தான்

இதை பலரும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வார்கள் என்று நம்புகிறேன்!!!!

I feel, he deserves a thread in this hub.... mainly because of his current form... I would say, he is the most wanted comedian by producers & directors.

His work ranges from small budget to high budget Endhiran.

The film which gave me this thought is Vaamanan.... & from then onwards, he had 2 more releases till date (Modhi Vilayadu & Malai Malai) & most of the reviews gave good opinion about his comedy.

Also, I am particularly looking about his comedy in the recent reviews & comparing with the review given for other comedian's work., in the films released alongside with his films.

Santhanam goes to Bollywood

Santhanam is literally going places. He will soon be seen in a Hindi film titled Chinnoo Mannoo, which is simultaneously made in Tamil too.

“The producer of the movie, who earlier made Khakhee, is introducing his son in Bollywood and Tamil industry through the film. I play his friend in both the versions,” says the comedian.

In a lighter vein, he adds, “Hindi dialogues are not so difficult for me. It takes just five takes for me to okay a shot. In Tamil, I used to okay a shot in two takes.”

Santhanam is currently acting in a long list of films including Endhiran, Kanden Kadhalai, Ayyanar, Kandha Kottai, Singam Puli, Tamil remake of Kick and Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai.

Honest, I have a mild soft corner for him. oru urimaiyila dhaan...

In that disastrous movie where a pigeon was the prime mover and Jayam Ravi was notionally the hero, Santhanam and Ravi are pushed out of the police station by constables when they are ostensibly protesting - santhanam to a constable:
"yov, thoppaiyAla thaLLadha, kaiyAla thaLLu"

it's a old joke but the new bottle is quite attractive.

the thing to notice is...

Gounder has been the most loved comedian in tamilnadu when we consider last last 20 years.

His style of comedy is very well in the minds of tamil people.So if some one does it ..or tries it ...people likes it a bit.
