Ace cinematographer P C Sreeram has been roped in by Shankar for his next with Vikram and Samantha, which has been titled I.

A source close to the unit reveals, "The Tamil alphabet 'I' has several meanings including beauty, king, vulnerability, music, guru and fear. Similarly, the film will have various facets which will be explored by Shankar. It's a romantic thriller, and we've already recorded a song with Vijay Prakash, which has been set to tune by A R Rahman. Mollywood actor Suresh Gopi and Ramkumar Ganesan will also be part of this multi-starrer, which will go on floors in Chennai from July 15. We've also roped in several Hollywood technicians for costumes and special effects."

dear Gopal Sir. I thank you very much for having expressed similar feelings. All NT movies are classics but for a modern day rerelease to cope up with the present generation's tastes, a lot of careful editing, coloring or color enhancements,wide screening, 3D with audio corrections.. are required. A lot of patience and painstaking efforts only can convert all these movies to stage a successful return to find the place in the young minds. B/W classic Films like Uththama Puththiran, Thookkuth thookki,Parasakthi, Manohara, Deiga Magan, Gnana Oli,Uyarndha Manithan, Pattikkada Pattanama, Vietnam Veedu, Babu, Bale Pandiya, Kappalottiya Thamilan,and all the Pa series with Bhimsingh need conversion to color and digitization. As far the priority is concerned for the color classics in my humble opinion the order or sequence shall be VPKB, Pudhiya Paravai, Vasantha Maligai, Thiruvilayadal, Thillana Mohanambal, Sivandha Mann, Saraswathy Sabatham, Thiruvarutchelvar,OOty varai Uravu, Thangappathakkam, Gauravam,Thirisoolam, Sumathi En Sundari, Sorgam, Engirundho VAndhal, Mudhal Mariyadai,.... like that the acting prowess of NT will be deeply implanted coupled with grand success like Karnan, if meticulously planned.
