My point would make more sense for those who has common sense and believe that the religion is part of the Indian society and any religious society for that matter. Hindusim is a way of life and a culture. Without learning properly about Hindusm, people change their religions for practical gains in their lives is absolutely pathetic.

வறுமைக்காக மாறியவர்கள், படிப்புக்காக மாறியவர்கள், திருமணத்துக்காக மாறியவர்கள் என்று மதம் மாறிய கூட்டம் காலம் காலமாக இருந்து வருகிறது. இதற்கு வசதியாக சாதியும் அரசியலும் இருந்து வந்தமை தான் கொடுமை. இந்து மதத்தை வளர விடாமல் முட்டுக்கட்டை போட்ட இவைகளால்தான் இங்கே மத மாற்றத்துக்கு வக்காலத்து வாங்குவோர், போலியான சமதர்மம் பேசவும் அதை பிறர் கேட்கவும் வேண்டி வந்துவிட்டது

I'm absolutely ridiculing no religions here, rather submitting the facts and circumstances in which some 'not sure of something' people quickly change their religions which their forefathers followed for centuries. In Yuvan's case, I do not see any 'fact finding mission' but 'match making' only.

May be one can say you took the one that you thought as right and started venting out your anger ... what if it was only a genuine case of deeply shaken by a grief (mother's loss) and found peace in islam... I don't want to buy the logic of match making.... I feel it is silly.......... to be in the place of a reputed music director's son and a reputed music director himself I don't think he wil change his religion just for that reason....... but in any case........ it is a personal decision and it has to be respected........at least should not be mocked....... if some one forces me to stop worshipping perumal / iyyappan and should only pray lord shiva I will only feel "please mind your business"
