Yes, it should. I have already remarked the awesome sound effects and recording done by engineers during the rescue operation. In theatres with such effects in accordence with the visuals increased the "thrill" factor. Indeed an welcome aspect getting recognised for the film Arambam.

Also the editing - esp during pre-interval scenes where they tried creating tension amounting various locations was also conceived well.
    A. Sreekar Prasad - deserved PAT for these scenes

Yes Arragesh, thats another aspect. I can recollect how the editting was critised when the film released and remember myself favouring the awesome editing work. Also the Climax Triangular Hostage Exchange was class, but missed a punch. Later we came to know that it underwent some massive cuts and repositioning of the scenes, after the protestations against other films with a terrorism plot in them. So Vishnu wished to ride it soft and I would saw he had suceeded in it without tampering the story flow, well quite indeed.

Still, would love to see the Director's Uncut Version, which I beleive can never be a possibility in TFI !

Climax was also a let down for me but I didn't know they edited it down to play it safe.

I think many Ajith action movies had this kind of climax with a lengthy dialogues (on the flow comming movies are Citizen, Ji, Kireedam). From time to time, its quite settling to see a different attempt on the climax admist the normal GoodvsEvil climaxes.
