please note, whatever the benefits etc (not judging) but cinnamon is often confused with cassia. In many parts of the world, including USA and India (ironically) bought cinnamon is usually cassia. The difference is obvious when you know, cassia is darker and open, cinnamon is usually tight buff coloured rolls (quills). Note, that cassia contains ten times as much coumarin (warfarin-like substance) as true cinnamon, so make sure you have cassia and not cinnamon.
