There was a film in telugu named ‘kathanayika molla’ released during 1970, starring Vanishree, Sobhan babu, B padmanabham in lead roles.
There is an episode displaying the court of Shri Krishnadevaraya of Vijayanagar, where in a multilingual dancer (vidhushi mani) asking to find out her mother-tongue. She starts with a song in kannada language and continue with Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Finally Tenali Ramakrishna solves the problem with his knowledge.
