Two years, I was caught in a horrible traffic jam near Thiruvanmiyur. Being stuck at the same place for more than 30 minutes, I was listening "Kanne Kalaimaaney" in loop non stop. I was just thinking about Balu Mahendra's clear, unhurried, mature and realistic portrayals of human relationships and hence was in no mood to change the song. As the Traffic started to move, I just casually looked to the right at the car stationed next to mine for more than 30 minutes. A White colour Toyota Corolla with scratches all over it. Inside it, an old man with blue cap, white beard, old specs. I just couldnt believe my eyes. It's Balu Mahendra himself.
