உண்மைதான் ராகவேந்திரன் சார். அந்த மதிவதன முகத்தைக் கண்டாலே உச்சி முதல் பாதம் வரை ஏற்படும் சிலிர்ப்பை சொல்லி மாளாது. உணர்ச்சிப் பிரவாகமெடுக்கிறது. எல்லா அம்சங்களும் அவருக்கு எப்படிப் பொருந்தியிருக்கின்றன!. இப்படியெல்லாம் ஒரு அதிசயப் பிறவி இனிமேல் பிறக்க முடியுமா! அந்த மகா மாமனித தெய்வம் வாழ்ந்த காலத்தில் வாழும் பெருமையை நாம் அடைந்தது என்னே ஒரு பெரும் பாக்கியம்! நடிகராக அவரை விட்டு விட்டுப் பார்த்தால் அதைவிட மனிதராக எல்லா விஷயங்களிலும் மேலோங்கி நிற்கிறார் என்றுதான் ஆணித்தரமாக சொல்லத் தோன்றுகிறது. கண்கள் பனிக்கின்றன சார்.
I was searching for this movie long time as I saw this movie long time back around 10 years back. After seeing the pictures in thread my interest grew more. Luckily I saw the movie today.
Sivaji is a youngster who dreams all day imaging anything and everything he sees thereby lands in trouble and everyone plays pranks on him . He stays with his uncle Major, sister Vijayakumari, daughter Indira, Cho.
He is bullied by his uncle’s sister, servants, co worker. His only solace is cho, baby Indira ,his sister and fruit vendor Jayalalitha.
He is innocent to a great extent that even his servants beat him. His uncle’s sister is engaged to Srikanth,working in Major’s factory who plans to kidnap Major’s daughter with Manohar and kidnaps her toy store. She is presumed dead. Major gives all properties to NT, NT revelas that his daughter is kidnapped.Major& his family leave their home gives curses that if was a saint then he would curse NT baby to death based on manuneethi chozan cow story NT decides to sacrifice his baby .Jayalalitha agrees.
What happens next?
Does NT becomes brave? Does NT baby is sacrificed? Will the family unite forms the climax.
Performance:
Major as usual good.
Vijayakumari just apt
Jayalalitha acted well just like other NT movies especially last half an hour explaining his desire not to sacrifice his child
Cho comedy satire on politics evokes laughter along with manorama especially his reference to Indira would have brought either whistle or commotion in theatre. Cho also sends solid support to story. His VPKB dialogue and reveals his secret is laugh riot

Ramu is helped by Indira
Could Pammalar, Ragavenderan,Vasu sirs throw light on this Cho comedy track about his satire.

NT shows various facets in this movie Navarasas
In the beginning he is innocent, helpless but at the same time nice & happy person
Buddha one act play is very inspiring. To see NT & JJ in those 7 min play is absolute treat particularly Buddhist preachings uttered by NT is a gem.
NT portrayal is finest underplay wonder why this movie didn’t celebrate 100 days.
Those who say NT overacts cannot handle subtle roles can very well see this movie to verify it

Happy that you chose a rare movie of NT neglected much by even his so called die hard fans. I saw this on the first day, Deepavali of 1974 at Villivakkam Royal, special morning show for fans since couldn't get ticket at Devi Paradise. To be frank, I liked this movie very much. The frequent dreams were one of the reasons for the failure of the movie, if at all it can be said so. In every movie, Muktha had created a disease or phobia for the main character. In Thava Pudhalvan, hero would be blind. In Niraikudam heroine would be blind. In Arunothayam the hero would suffer with stomach pain and like that. In Anbai thedi the phobia of dream was the weakness of the character played by NT, which he essayed with utmost dedication and reality.
The film had class songs composed by Mellisai Mannar, sung by T.M.S., P.Susheela, Jayalalitha, Pushpalatha.
