Smart Senthil: "Oru vela kedaikira varaikum, kedacha velaya vida koodadhu, adhu thaan buthisaalithanam, neenga adha panradhuku chance illa"

Idhey padatha Selvaraghavan eduthirundha Saranya-vuku badhila Amala Paul-la kola panni irupaar. Vivek was funny "Ennaya indha vandila engappa walking kottitu poi iruka"

Dhanush, you are such a fine actor, even in this movie.

    - yet another TV serial material with little twists in between..
    - i think something more to be added to give the feel of a full length film.. i don't know what it is.. but these extended short films with serious theme doesn't interest much.. few like "Neram" succeeds
    - if these kind of stories are made as film, then we can make countless no. of films from crime novel stories written by Rajeshkumar, suba, pattukoattai prabhakar.. etc. each one will be interesting to read atleast till last few chapters..

    en uyir thozhan
    - Bharathiraja's camera angles makes me laugh these days
    - his heroine here has very very less dialogues.. also she is not that great looking.. very average compared to his other heroines.. i don't know what BR was thinking while creating this character..
    - BR's dubbing for villain's.. here it doesn't suit.. it fits well for thyagarajan (alaigal oyvathillai), kind of acceptable for manivannan (kodiparakkudhu)
    - only character does lot of talking is hero, the unfortunate "en uyir thozhan" babu... next best is from Livingstone, young & upcoming actor those days
    - BR has shown much better politics scenes in Thamizhchelvan than this one..
    - twist in the film is it starts like a double hero subject..
    - & the irony is villain gets the best song of the film.. & this one is such a good song till date & it will be forever... if u have not seen the film, u think that he is also one of the hero..
    - not a great film

For those who don't know to read Tamil language, you have an oppurtunity to read few collected classic crime pocket novels in English distributed in 2 volumes :

    Vol 1 & Vol 2 - Blaft Anthology of Tamil Pulp Fiction (2008, 2010)
Publisher : Blaft Publications Pvt. Ltd.
Selected and translated by Pritham K. Chakravarthy
    Edited by Rakesh Khanna
Selected works of Authors : Rajeshkumar, Pattukottai Prabhakar, Indhumathi, Rasakee, Jeyara, Indra Soundar Rajan, Subha & others

The Vol 2 center pages have some Awesome Original Covers of few novels, that too in COLOR. And the covers of these 2 volumes are awesome too.

I got these 2 Volumes from Landmark. Hope they release Vol.3 soon.
