S J Surya can make a movie about two rival artists where one of them plots against the other. That kind of a story has a tremendous potential. Remember the old movie "Sigaram"? It has a very similar story line. But bringing in a Raaja vs AR angle simply shows his lack of creativity. This is not risky. This is easy money. He is taking a simpler path than taking the hard path of exploring the differences in music styles and differences in personalities. In-fact, he could have made a genuine Raaja Vs AR film. Maniratnam did it in Iruvar. That is a blood clever film and goes into all sorts of grey areas, conflicts and even an underlying affection between MK and MGR. SJ Surya uses AR vs IR and the best he can do is think of a "revenge" story line? That is a cheap stunt IMHO..

Anyway regarding rest of your points, if Sathjaraj character was based on Raja and SJ Surya was based on ARR, then ARR must be bale killadi wrt gals matter. Sathyaraj is a joker and has always been for me. SJ Surya is already forgotten by the people. He is like an ich on the bottocks. Scratch it and it will go away.

Who is AR? Let Amir Khan and Bollywood call him that. Tamil movie/music lovers have always referred to him as ARR.
