Padma awardees from TN

As we all know,the Indian Govt. gives Padma award(like Padma Shri etc). This year too some Tamilians have won this award.I do not have the full list,but I noted down people affliated to music(my passion!)

(1)Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan--- famous Carnatic and light music violinist

(2)Kavitha Krishnamurthi -- lgiht music singer and also a classical music person.Now married to violin virtuoso L.Subramaniam and living in Bangalore.

Non Music person is Dr.Bhakthavatsalam from KG. Hospital Coimbatore.Their is big business family in Coimbatore.

Last year too T.N.SeshaGopalan and Sudha Ragunathan(both carnatic music vocalists) got Padma awards.

Anyone else from TamilNadu? We can discuss all the padma awardees who were Tamils.

Kamal Hasan is a PadmaShri from TN.
I think no one needs introduction to him.

I think flute vidwan Dr.N.Ramani is also a padmashri.He is a disciple of Flute Mali and is an excellent flautist.
