It was earlier stated that it will be different tunes (may be not all..) for all three version of the movie (USA). Looks like it is not to be.

thelisu theliyunda ..second interlude guitar echoes back but in kannada version no echo back. apart from this only after repeat listening will know but didnt notice anything differing much

IR says he got the inspiration for 'indha porappu thaan' in bathroom, which it seems the first time ever for him.

Prakash raj says he was shocked when IR wanted to do it as a qawwali. Also says 'eeramaai' is a unique composition.

Palani bharathi says he wrote 'kaatru veliyil' as a kavithai that IR naturally set to music as he was reading. PRaj says he couldn't think of anyone else for that song apart from IR.

"therindho theriyaamalo" is a winner - the first interlude has an amazing sax piece likes of which I have rarely heard in indian film music before

Malayalam music composer Sharreth is singing for IR in the movie Tharai thappattai. It seems (as per the below site) he has already sung for IR in the movie ulavacharu biriyani / oggarane (the song "raayaleni lekhane/barayada"). I did wonder who was the singer as it was very nicely sung.

Yes RR, I know he can sing well. In fact,I have seen this video. I was surprised because usually a composer singing for another composer (that too for IR) gets captured by media , but news that sharreth sang for IR in oggarane/ub came to be known only after he sang for TT.

BTW, sharreth has great admiration for IR's skill. Seen it in some asianet music reality shows.
