Yet another generation. Yet another fancy dress competition. The same veera pandiya kattabomman.
Dressed up my daugther as the great freedom fighter, showed her youtube of the great scenes, taught her the lines - and she picked up really well - and paraded her only to find that 279* other parents had got the same idea. I should have known.

Anyway, daughter got stage fear and conked out at vayalukku vandhAyA, that's another story. But the baton's been passed on - and He continues to dazzle - registered in the minds of my daughter as *sivaji uncle* - uncle to a generation young enough to be great-grand daughter.

நீங்களும் ராகவேந்தர் சாரும் அள்ளி அளித்து வரும் புதையல்களுக்கு நன்றி சொல்லியெல்லாம் மாளாது. அதுக்கெல்லாம் மேலே போய் விட்டீர்கள்.

Just got to remember a film in which NT plays a sailor and the whole plot happens in a ship. Maybe one of his later roles. Never got to see the film completely though and i also forgot its name. Can someone help me with this. Might be helpful if i wish to see the movie sometime later
