I am supporting GC's article because he praised MSD? Not at all. That MSD part of the article is something that I am not getting into. I am with his claim that Indians are not being groomed as decision makers.

Might be unscientific but I think he has a point.Am not getting into his take on Indian Cricket because he himself has an axe to grind.

I am with him simply because my work requires me to interact closely with decision makers esp at the Village,district level.Have seen first hand the obstinate attitude to retain status quo,the inability to stick the head out and make decisions which is for good but might get controversial.Infact DC's(collector's)call up mentors before taking decisions which are not strictly according to the rule book-play safe attitude highly at play there.

In fact is not our Prime minister,a glaring example of this?

I firmly believe we as a nation still have a slavish attitude,work when somebody kicks but otherwise relax and hold on to your seat.If this makes me anti-national or racist,so be it.

Doesn't mean you have to be like the aussies or anybody other and that is something we can differ on but to call his observations,a vicious attack on Indian culture is too much.
