அந்தரங்கம் ஊமையானது சமீபத்தில் தொலைக்காட்சியில் பார்த்தேன். அன்னப்பறவை கூட போன வருடம் பொதிகையில் ஒளிபரப்பினார்கள். அவசரக்காரி படம் பல வருடங்களுக்கு முன் தொலைக்காட்சியில் பார்த்தேன். ( திரையரங்குகளில் ரிலீஸ் ஆனதே தெரியாது ). சத்யராஜ் ஏறக்குறைய வில்லனாக வந்து நல்லவனாக மாறும் படம். அவரை மணக்க மறுக்கும் பெண்ணிடம் ஒரு படிக்காத வாலிபனை விட்டு மயக்க வைத்து ஏமாற்றும் கதை ( மஹாகவி காளிதாஸ் நினைவுக்கு வந்தால் நான் பொறுப்பில்லை ).அவ்ன அவள் அது படம் நன்றாகவே ஓடியதாக நினைவு. எழுத்தாளர் சிவசங்கரியின் "ஒரு சிங்கம் முயலாகிறது" என்ற நவீனத்தை அடித்தளமாகக் கொண்டு எழுதப்பட்ட கதை.

ராகவேந்திரா சார்.. முடிந்தால் சின்னதாக கதைச் சுருக்கத்தையும் கொடுத்து விடுங்களேன். இன்னும் நன்றி உடையவனாவேன்.

Hi Isai Rasigan,

In this week's Kumudham there is a flashback article on the film 'Achaani' which commenced shooting in 1977. There is a photograph of the producer Karaikudi Narayanan, the late Fatafat Jayaletchumi and Vaalee. Narayanan mentions that the lyricist of this movie is Vaalee while Ilayaraja is the music director. I was under the impression that the song 'Maathavin Koviliae' was written by Kannadhasan who was present when the recording took place. It was here that he observed Ilayaraja's extraordinary talents and he started to take a liking of him. But this article in Kumudham has put paid to the purported incident since it was mentioned by the producer himself. Is there anyway where it can be verified? References to the Internet and Youtube drew a blank.

However, the movie is available in the net but sadly it is without the credit titles. A cursory glance at the opening revealed something else, though. The young boy looks like Kaarthik but then it was reported widely that his maiden movie is 'Aaliyah Oyvithillai'. Perhaps he first appeared in this film which had his father as the hero as a child artist?

I have no idea about the incident you mentioned. As you said, unfortunately, the full movie is not available on the Net. Not even on the torrent sites. May be madhu can throw some light on the subject.
