Tamil Folk Songs
Vamsi Mohan Maganti in his Facebook "Why do I wonder that tamil folk songs sound better to the ear than our telugu folk songs? Is this because they are more of aboriginal base? Telugu folk songs are easy on the ear, though beat/rhythm wise they are in a plus area. But it is a different case with tamil folk songs. Their lack of rhythm doesnot seem to take away the beauty, and infact that adds charm to it." I guess that he means folk songs are still a part of popular culture and are available in films etc. One example he gives is
