Kamal Hassan and Kapoor share screen space

Shekhar has concluded shooting for ‘Viswaroopam’, a film scripted and directed by actor Kamal Hassan.

Shekhar plays Kamal Hassan’s uncle in the thriller that has already
garnered a screening slot at the Cannes film festival, if reports are to
be believed.

We caught up with Shekhar for a quick word before he slipped into the
conference room on the concluding day of Frames 2012, the Federation of
Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry’s media and entertainment
convention. “I have just finished a hectic schedule of shooting for
‘Viswaroopam’. Working with Kamal Hassan was a great experience. The
screenplay, dialogues and lyrics written by Kamal Haasan are preciously
meaningful in combination with an intriguing tale,” he claimed.

‘Viswaroopam’ is set in Afghanistan and deals with the subject of
Taliban in the region. Actor Rahul Bose will be playing the lead
negative role in the movie.

Kamal's Viswaroopam makes it!

Kamal Haasan has done it again! The actor's film Viswaroopam has been wrapped up in record time and has made the deadline for Cannes, the prestigious film festival. The powers at Cannes extended the deadline so that Viswaroopam could be entered in the competitive category and Kamal did not let them down.

Word is that Viswaroopam will also be played at the Singapore Film Festival. The cast of Viswaroopam includes, Rahul Bose, Shekhar Kapoor, Pooja Kumar, Andrea and has music by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy. We wish the film luck at Cannes and Singapore!
