    Amateur Composers Thread!

    Greetings all!

I searched for the old "Amateur Composers Go Here..." thread from the old forum, but couldn't find it here. So, am creating a new one...

All enthusiastic composers are welcome here to post their compositions, discuss the technical aspects of the art of composing, share their practical experiences, etc. etc.

Helping and encouraging each other improve and make better quality music is the motto.

Thanks all in advance for all your invaluable contributions.

    - Stanley Lyndon J.P.

    RR,

You mean, the old thread can continue HERE and those posts be taken as OLD RESPONSES to THIS thread?

I meant to continue in your/this thread. Shall we not think too much into this, but jump straight to any of your compositions?

A small challenge to our composers...

Hope you all have heard the evergreen hit song kaalangaLil avaL vasantham from paavamannippu. Even though the song is excellent I kind of feel that same 'insturmental music' (almost) in both interludes is kind of not OK. So I request you all to come up with an alternative to the second interlude.

Please note I am not asking for a remix kind of interlude. Personally I feel remix is a disservice to the original song.

The rule is that interlude should gell with the mood, period of the song.

Hope to have different interludes for this song from our DFer composers soon.

Request our DFers to acknowledge/reply to this idea.

    All the best.
