19th - specificA ippO oNNum solla mudiyala but immediately after the junior world cup win, in IPL-1 he was looking more like the next Yuvi than the next Dhoni. romba irritatingA irundhudhu especially IPL-1la
I admit he has grown as a person in the last 3 years and is far more mature and dependable now.
As I said, I am officially removing him from the obnoxious weed list in my mind

yes.. sinna vayasula appadi ippadi nu irukurathu thaan.. so Kholi unselected .. I recommend Slater to be added in this elite list.. I remember him arguing with the umpire after his claim for catch was turned down by 3rd umpire.. in the 2001 series..

Slater is one of the few cricketers in history who sledged the umpire. The most famous one ofcourse is thalaivar Ponting.
He abused Venkatraghavan in that match and got away with it - it is easy to say why didnt Venkat complain to ICC etc. To me, that clearly shows what the ICC is - someone like Venkat not even bothering to make an issue of it most likely because he knew ICC will do nothing about it- it is not as if Slater was Ganguly.
And some people still maintain ICC has been King Solomon in its dealings with player behaviour.
Only the blind or stupid can deny ICC's historical bias against Asian players and bias towards Aussie/English players

Innaiku varaikum answer varala!
A couple of instances I can remember:
1. Few years back, an U19 manager/coach ranted in public like this "U19 players are behaving like stars already and not respecting the game. They are more worried about hair styles and other extra-curricular activities". yaaru, eppo, enna-nu marandhupochu. But there were rumors at the time that it was Kohli.
2. I remember watching a program of Kohli in TV (2-3 years back I think). They tried to make the program casual so the concept was to take Kohli to his room where some of his Delhi team-mates would surprise him and then engage in casual chat. Almost all of them were definitely elder than Kohli but he was very rude and disrespectful. And no, it didn't look like team mates having fun.
But he seems a different person now. May become Indian captain in the future too.
