Vaali & his different facets

A small digression - In 'annamalai' serial (Sun TV), vaalee makes a special appearance, and I liked they way he is acting - casual, excellent data delivery, using eyes for emotional scenes etc., His dialogues were also very very nice,.

Wondering if he had some acting practice too ...

Nagas - yes he appeared in that serial yesterday..

He was introduced in films(in acting) by K.Balachander in poi kal kudhirai . In that he did a remarkable role as Viji's father.

Similarly he got a good role in "Kai alavu manasu " also

I've seen him in poykkaal kudhirai (crazy mohan drama

), Sathya (Guest appearance) and KaiyaLavu manasu TV Serial.

But his look (and feel

) in ANNamalai was totally different ... gonna watch the serial today also (last episode) just for Vaalee

vAli appeared (acted) in Kamal's Hey rAm also. He looked like a typical iyengar with his make-up and dialogue delivery.

Valee acted in many episodes of Anni (as himself).
His acting is a feat never attempted by other lyricists.

Kannadasan acted in some songs (paramasivan kazuththilirunthu, ellorum ellaamum peRa veNdum, oru koppaiyilae en kudiyiruppu etc.,) ... and vairamuthu acted in a few movies as well (recent one is 'jodi', where he comes as vairamuthu himself)

I am sure they have all made some guest appearances. But what sets Valee apart is his character plays a key role in the story telling.

It is like MSV acting in Kadhala Kadhala and IR acting in "naan thedum sevvandhi poovidhu."

Vaalee was one of the important supporting character in "Paarththaalae paravasam" also ...

What I like in the characters vaalee is taking in movies / tv serials, his dialoughes are usually very good, its as if he is writing his own vasanams with his stylish ethugai monai tamil (even in urainadai
