என் சின்ன வயசுல ஒரு படத்திற்காக நான் போட்ட பின்னணி இசையை கேட்டுவிட்டு இது அம்மா பயனுக்கான இசை. காதலுக்கான டியுன் அல்ல அது உனக்கு வரும் போது புரியும் என்றார். இப்படியாக உறவுமுரைகளுக்கென்று ஒரு இசை உண்டு என்று அன்று தான் தெரியும். இப்படிபட்ட இசையை கொடுப்பவர் என் அப்பா தன என்று நினைக்கிறேன்.

parvathi parameshwara and parvathi pa rameshwara was originally meant to be like that and mahaperiyava explained it way back in 50s. so no credit to any film personalities, imho.

Possible, narayanan. Equally, it is possible that someone rediscovered it independently without listening to paramcharya. Like I discovered that 1+2+3...n = n(n+1)/2 in my 6th or 7th Standard., I dont remember which. I thought I had made an earth shattering discovery but my maths teacher brought me down to earth pointing out that it had been found and formed the basis for much mroe advanced formulae in maths about atleast 10 centuries ago
