I'm not aware of the spin-offs in Facebook and other forums given that I'm not a member of any of them. However, I will admit that I was also critical of the compering in my review posted here (which might have found its way elsewhere and possibly fuelled, what I understand as, needlessly cheap potshots at the host).
Now that Mr.Anil has direct access to this forum, I will re-post this portion from the original review, with the desire of indulging in a constructive, healthy discussion with a musically knowledgeable person and professional musician, my core intention being my longstanding (and selfish) wish to elicit technically profound thoughts and analysis on Raaja's music, helping ordinary fans like me understand, at a very basic level at least, the method and patterns behind the Man's magic and genius.

"The choice of host for the event was interesting given his musical background. However, in reality, Anil, was pretty disappointing. I was expecting a more technical and articulate introduction to the pieces, but what we ended up getting was very surface-level, and at times simply jingoistic. The LP album cover has some beautifully written lines on each piece, though a bit too technical for general public. The organizers could’ve chosen to use this as the base to create diet version intros at the show. That, I’m guessing, might have worked better for the concert and given it a bit of extra finesse."

I doubt it was for Koyil puRA Those songs clearly had the MPM Sethuraman / MPM Ponnusamy brothers playing nAyanam (even the radio used to announce the vidhwans' names when the songs were played).

This must be for some other recording...AV got it wrong
