All most "ALL" of early ARR's entire albums has me spell bound. I am afraid, I cannot chose one over another, as EVERY SONG from any single album would make me feel "this is my kinda song"

Early hits of ARR (I assume until 2000) were like magic...I still get mesmerised whenever I listen to them. (starting from roja to rhtym and thenali..I can go on)

I finally picked, with great difficulty, two of his albums to top my list

1. thiruda thiruda
2. minsaara kanavu

and though my pic from minsaara kanavu would be "strawberry kanne" as no.1 for choreography, lyrics and choclatey kajol...I hesitate as it may fall under "casual lyrics" type.

arr... ஒண்ணு மட்டும் என்னைப் பொறுத்தவரை உண்மை. Twists and turns and jumps which are sharp in ARR's music (esp the recent ones) are very tough for singers to handle..atleast I find it tough when I try.

Following the phenomenal success of 'indhira lOgaththu sundari' song (already quoted by Vinatha), TR gave a few more songs to BS Sasirekha, a singer with "identifiably different voice".

Some of them were big hits and extremely likeable too.
