    Rahman turns 48 on Jan 6th. How is that three shy of 50? OK, the article was written a day before his birthday. so let's ignore that. But the writer seems intent in pointing out that Rahman's recent efforts are ordinary. How is "Highway" an ordinary album? or "Kochadaiyaan"? or "Kaaviyathalaivan"? kizhinja record maathiri thirumba thirumba Rahman 90s maadhiri pannalainnu polambal "innards of a synthesizer rather than a fertile mind"? Was the author really referring to AR Rahman now? Because this was exactly the complaint against him in the 90s.
