'Dil Se – A Tribute To Rahman' by over 40 Delhi musicians

AR Rahman and his work will be celebrated by over 40 Delhi musicians, who will play at a tribute concert for the composer, in the capital on July 6.

Called 'Dil Se - A Tribute To Rahman', the concert will relive some of Rahman's earlier compositions and move to his most popular commercial songs.

They will be performed by a choir of 30 Delhi vocalists and 15 musicians from the city, including members of bands like Parikrama, flute player Ritesh Prasanna of Varanasi, Anindo Bose of Advaita, and production director Nilotpal Sinha.

‘‘பணத்துக்கு நான் ஆசைப்படுவதில்லை. தரமான படங்களுக்கே இசையமைக்க ஒப்புக்கொள்கிறேன்’’ என்று இசையமைப்பாளர் ஏ.ஆர்.ரகுமான் கூறினார்.

பாடல் வெளியீடு

சூர்யா–ஜோதிகா நடித்த ‘சில்லுன்னு ஒரு காதல்’ படத்தை டைரக்டு செய்தவர், கிருஷ்ணா. இவருடைய டைரக்ஷனில், ‘நெடுஞ்சாலை’ என்ற புதிய படம் உருவாகி இருக்கிறது. இந்த படத்தின் பாடல்கள் வெளியீட்டு விழா, சென்னை கமலா தியேட்டரில் நடந்தது. பாடல்களை, இசையமைப்பாளர் ஏ.ஆர்.ரகுமான் வெளியிட, டைரக்டர் ஏ.ஆர்.முருகதாஸ் பெற்றுக் கொண்டார்.

‘‘பட அதிபர் தாணு மூலம் எனக்கு டைரக்டர் கிருஷ்ணா அறிமுகம் ஆனார். அவர் உணர்ச்சிகரமாக கதை சொல்வது எனக்கு பிடிக்கும். இப்போது அவர் புதுமுகங்களை வைத்து, ஒரு தரமான படத்தை இயக்கி இருக்கிறார். ரசிகர்கள் இப்போதெல்லாம் பெரிய படமா, சின்ன படமா? என்று பார்ப்பதில்லை. தரமான படமாக இருந்தால், ரசிக்கிறார்கள்.

நான் தமிழ் படங்களில் அதிக கவனம் செலுத்த ஆரம்பித்து இருக்கிறேன். 3 தமிழ் படங்களுக்கு இசையமைக்க ஒப்புக் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன். 10 இந்தி படங்களுக்கும் இசையமைக்கிறேன் . பணத்துக்காக ஆசைப்படுவதில்லை. படத்தின் தரத்தை தெரிந்து கொண்டு இசையமைக்க ஒப்புக்கொள்கிறேன்.’’
