LM, can you please sanitize this thread?

Isn't it obvious that your questions on Rahman's success in Hollywood are rhetorical?
See, it is an undeniable fact that Rahman is the only Indian composer who enjoys both great popularity and critical acclaim. Rahman is the only Indian composer who has been able to enter foreign film industries in a convincing manner. Nobody else has managed to do that. Ithuve poraama pada koodiya vishayam thaane? He actually need not achieve anything in Hollywood. We all know what sort of a genius he is with or without success in Hollywood. In fact, there are many popular foreign artists who have expressed their interest to meet or work with ARR. Now, I can't provide a list of all the artists. I have read about them in different places at different times. Bryan Adams and Michael Jackson are two examples.
Regarding your comments on ARR as being merely a commercial composer, it is definitely not true. There are crores of fans who love the quality of ARR's music. His quality and true love of people towards his music has given rise to commercial opportunities for producers. Not the other way around. His qawwali numbers are great hits not because they are commercial. They are soulful numbers and people really enjoy them. Commercial success is a bonus.
We feel ARR is superior to all other MDs including IR. It is not because of ignorance or limited knowledge or anything like that. It is because of pure disinterest towards IR’s style of music. Fans like myself, Ajaybaskar, Maddy have all heard enough of IR music. We all feel he is a good composer but definitely not in the class of ARR. So, it doesn’t make any sense if you come here and force your superlative opinions about IR on us. We are obviously not going to accept them. If we did, then we would rather be IR fans instead of ARR fans.
You or other IR fans may feel that IR doesn’t need any of the success that Rahman got. That is perfectly fine. Yes, we are not going to accept it. But, that is how it is.
Whatever IR says in the media can be interpreted in any way. We feel they are not in good taste. You guys feel there is nothing wrong with it. In fact, it is not possible to be absolutely sure about his intentions. Athey maathiri than Srinivas sonnathum. One can’t be sure what he really had in mind when he made that statement. But, neenga ellaam unga threads la atha discuss panni avara kalaaikaliyaa? Athey maathiri thaan Ajaybaskar senjathum. I also did not like when Ajaybaskar brought the issue here. But, enna panrathu? It is his right.

Since this topic is on discussion here now, i would like to clear somethings with IR fans. What is it, that u guys keep saying A.R.Rahman is not good enough. I mean seriously, come on! He has given many many strong melodies, given good clean mass songs, good religious numbers, etc etc. When in 90s, many IR fans said " ARR songs wont be last longing. U wont be able to hear them 10 years later." Its been 20 years now, and just play Pudhu Velllai Malai from Roja, or Kannaku Mai Azhagu from Pudhiya Mugam and tell me, doesnt that melody still make ur eyes close and feel its quality? Or take "THee THee" and "Konjum Nilave" from Thiruda Thiruda, and tell me, its a pakka fast paced song, doesnt it still make u want to move along with it? ARR is never lower to IR anyday. If IR is superior to ARR, then ARR entrance into to TFM wouldnt be a huge success. Why didnt IR gave songs like Roja in 1992? Avaraley mudiyathethe thaaney? Even until now, i dont think IR could compose modern yet melodious songs like ARR.
