Then, when Sridevi was called upon to present the Best Film award, she also meekly talked in her mother tongue. The audience was maha-impressed.
For those who think Rahman Ji is a Thamizh Drohi - I don't know any other MD was approached for Senmozhi, Rahman put everything in that song, it's my fav single of his compared to CWG and Toyota He wanted Senmozhi to be special and the result is more than special.
