    Film Titles from Songs

    Those days it was quite the in thing to name a film from the line of a popular song.

    The most popular was of course this...

    From the movie Lakshmi Kalyanam raaman eththanai ramanadi

    From the movie Raaman Eththanai Ramanadi ammadi ponnukku thanga manasu

    From the movie Ponnukku Thanga Manasu thEn sindhudhe vaanam

    From the movie ThEn Sindhudhe Vaanam unnnidam mayangugirEn

    The movie Unnidam Mayangugiren unfortunately didnt take off.

    Now, we seem to see a return to this style of naming films.

    That was quite a chain you found NOV amazing....

    is there a reason for them to use song lines as movie title? i feel, catchy song lines would stand in ppl's mind .... and so would the movie name ....

    GVM have intention to title his films from songs but for Manmathan Ambu and Kalavani no intension - appadguratha than appadi suthi valachi sonnen

    Kalavaani word has been quoted in many songs. I guess we need to pick the unique ones, GVM movies are best candidates.
