Thanks for the compliment!! The best I have received in this month!!
I was indeed puzzled when I read that ellorum sollum paattu was sarasaangi. offcourse i knew nothing about grahabedham. it is enlightening indeed!!
As raagas (hubber) wonders, it is just 7 notes, but how various threads are pulled together and colored differently to give divergent musical patterns is certainly stuff of magic !!

Listening to the songs of 'Akka'. What tunes!!! First I must express my thanks once again to Rajasaranam who dug up this treasure. As Rajasaranam one said, "Raja has understood Akka better than the director of the movie"!!! Very true words indeed. Though the orchestration is modern, Raja keeps the essence of her sayings intact. The way he tunes "enagekayya" is top class. Starting off like a siddar padal, 'nandavanthil or andi' he then goes on to put his own stamp on the song, which also reflects the philosophy of Akka Mahadevi. Wonderful effort.

To watch and listen to this song, here is the upload of Rajasaranam:

If you read and understand Tamil, you should head to this blog post of Rajasaranam to get the meaning for these songs. Great job done by RS.

Thanks for the 'Bhoomi Geethe' link Jai. Was searching for it earlier. Looks like someone has loaded it only recently. Unfortunately it doesn't have the visuals, which are very good. Wonderful song. Infact every song from this movie is a gem.

Yes. The ending flute of 'indraneela' is superb and when you watch it with the visuals, it is even more striking.

    Hey Usha

Great pick, have heard this song before but didn't know it was Soundharya-Karthik movie....
funny whenever I think of Soundarya I actually am reminded of the duet "Nenjukule Innarendu" song also with Karthik

It's so cute the lyrics travel well along with the beat =) The flute dances along and the violin leaps along like a rushing stream

The part when SPB sings and the flute answers...so sweet!
