Surprisingly i listened to the complete song and felt it was Fine except for "yuvan shakarai poadu" bit..

Apparently, a democracy is a place where numerous elections are held at great cost without issues and with interchangeable candidates.

Welcome back V_Sji!!
V_S,
Superb song. I have listened to it but not often enough. I think we should include this song in our 90s analysis when we talk of Raja in Malayalam. The songs in this movie are quite experimental in nature.

The 'mungi mungi' seems to be inspired by his 'Bobilli Raja' number, "chamma chakka chamma chakka"

Thanks Nerd.
Yes, Sureshji. Valathum Idathumayi and Mungi Mungi took me by surprise. The melody in valathum idathumayi sound very new and fresh in addition to it sounded little christian'ish may be because of Unni Menon's voice. Another interesting aspect why I liked this song is because it resembled 'Chinna KaNNilE' from Dhoni which is again my most visited song. Hearing this song along with Dhoni's song can tell us how he improvised keeping the melodic and basic structures intact while building a totally different architecture. Please let me know if you find the resemblances between these two songs. This is again a clear cut example how far he has travelled.
yeah!
