stumbled on this energetic IR track from "oka radha iddharu krishnalu" -

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=...ture=endscreen

Kamal's 'konashtai's with his voice is pure fun/delight

IR freaks out in the interludes! the second interlude in particular has the tabla joining in with the other percussion sounds!

Been addicted to the Solla Solla compilation from Finders Keepers. Sound quality is truly awesome. Some of the songs (first time listen for me) or beyond stunning - Mayakkama by VJ, Disco Sound, Kholapurise by SPS and many more, absolutely worthy compilation to own. Naan Than Ungappanda was a delight to listen.

Amazed that Kanavu Ondru Thondrudhe found a place in this compilation, proves that these Finders Keepers really look for supreme quality stuff. This song alone (in good quality) would be worth the price of the album, IMO.

    Here you go:
    http://www.finderskeepersrecords.com/

Ofcourse, for 'sollachcholla enna perumai', there had been links given in this forum already...they have "found" it and kept it. (That same disk had 'nAn dhAn goppandA' which had reached Danny Boyle / BBC thru them)

Now their website advertises the song as 'as featured in London Olympics' and the buying link is this:

Look at their intro's for TFM compilations :

    On these singles :
"As featured in the London 2012 Olympic Games opening ceremony"

    On KSC songs:
"Following our previous compilation of the earlier Ilaiyaraaja film music with our Solla Solla compendiums, these recordings have never previously released on CD and considerably rare on their original vinyl pressings"

    On Sollachcholla Vol 1:
"The first vinyl instalment from the undeniable prince of Kollywood cinema, India's second largest film industry, Ilaiyaraaja is more than equal to his forward thinking contemporaries in Bollywood and Lollywood. Includes the music from the cult Youtube clip SOLLA SOLLA, with exclusive bonus track."

    On Sollachcholla Vol2:
"The second vinyl compendium from the undeniable prince of Kollywood cinema, India's second largest film industry, Ilaiyaraaja is more than equal to his forward thinking contemporaries in Bollywood and Lollywood. Includes the maestros quasi four to the floor disco sounds, with exclusive bonus track"

On another Solla Solla (I think here it got started):
"The undeniable prince of Kollywood cinema, India's second largest film industry, Ilaiyaraaja is more than equal to his forward thinking contemporaries in Bollywood and Lollywood. Includes the music from the cult Youtube clip SOLLA SOLLA."

The interesting thing is one doesn't know whether these three perumakkaL are even aware of the existence of this label and such promotions May be they got alerted when the media published about the 'nAn dhAngoppandA' thingy a few months earlier.

adhukkappuRam kooda it's doubtful if IR were aware......KH/SPB, who are more media savvy may know.
