Thanks a lot skr for this amazing piece of music. The starting bass guitar with Maestro's casual humming is of course pullarips O pllarips! The theme from 'Un Vaazhve' is so sweet to listen in instrumentals, (but I somehow don't listen to that song frequently because of Sadhana Sargam's voice, not a big fan of her voice and singing). Guitar (with flute and violins) play from 1:15 -1:52 is absolutely terrific. The way he structured the title theme is way beyond imagination!

This thukkamenna thuyaramenna from Mayilu is straight from the 80s.

Minus the brilliant singers we had and the *very* imaginative ludes. Superb song this nevertheless

    Suresh ji,
Beautiful pick again! Please listen to other songs in case you have not, Indiran SundariyE and On Unnaale.

skv, Are you referring to ILayavan songs? I got confused with En Arugil Nee Irunthaal.

    Nerd,
Thukkamenna Thuyaramenna is a kind of song where it follows Maestro's usual template of late 80's as you said, but we cannot escape from that song, just with a single listen, it asks for a mandatory rewinds. Because these are the kind of sweet tunes we grew up listening to. Reeta and Sriram does a fabulous job in bringing the mood and did not disappoint.

the starting guitar backed by piano is so "nee paartha paarvaikku". is this hindolam?

No Problem at all. Thanks for the link. ILayavan has some great songs! Vatta nilave and en jeevanin are too good melodies.

Today's discovery in twitter. As I wrote there, this can only be composed by a person who has an excellent grasp on TamilNadu folks. What changes.
