    You are better than me ! When I was a student here I tried to make sambaar. It tasted terrible. Then I realized there was no 'paruppu' in it ! I wrote to my mother asking for a recipe. She told me to hire a cook! It took me a while to make her understand a cook would have cost all my fellowship!

    Rose, thanks for your post.
    Here is my list, Sittu urundai, nei urundai, rava laddu, poruvelnga urundai, Athirasam.

    Murukku, ribbon pakoda, omma podi, mixture.
    Halva , mysore pak, coconut candy.

    Peanut cookies, cornflake cookies, suji cookies.

    I want to try eggless achu murukku.

    Dev, glad that your rava laddu came well.
    Actually, it is very simple to make.
    You can actually mix all the ingredients and keep them in a airtight container. When ever you want just heat up some ghee and make them into balls.

    true k, , my appa used to tell 'unakku unga amma kai pakkuvam konjam irukku' am happy but mom made food is always the best
