    Thanks for bringing up 'ponnula ponnula'. Been ages since I heard this song. The other two songs of "Chittukuruvi' get played often. SPB is enjoying himself here and the chorus is typical IR of those days.

    Bala is simply unmatched.
    my favorite time of the day is early morning exercise time around 5:30 a.m, especially during spring & summer times with Bala's vocals.
    this morning woke up with poongkaatru un per solla....soft romantic voice of Bala cool to my ears... that silent early morning breezy moment...relieving and soothing effect reaches through my soul, he will stay with me whole day...AWESOME FRESHNESS!

    yeko hosa aase....a lilting kannada composition pleasing aalap, tabala, sax, guitar, flute, veena orchestration..superb composition..from the GREAT MAN of Naan Adimai illai album.He is a genius from 80s with amazing compositions for Bala.

    Bala is a gift to music composers from GOD.
