Even in India, i know many guys using Airtel 2G itself in Android phones. Speed is decent.
Btw, BSNL is giving the lowest cost 3G plans in india. THats the ONLY plus of having a BSNL number. Rs.330 Topup for 1Gb and there is no expiry. Recenlty, I moved to BSNL for browsing and I topup as less as Rs.10(voice) to keep the plan active.

oh, now went to their website to check. remember reading earlier that ipad2 doesnt support 4G outside of US (coz of different frequencies used) and it wud default to 3G (HSPA+) in Singapore
edit : confirmed - its working on 3G -
Is the new iPad (WiFi+4G) compatible with M1's LTE network?
The new iPad is not compatible with M1's LTE network, based on current available information. However, the new iPad runs on our HSPA+ network offering speeds of up to 21Mbps.

use SHOPCOMP for a 10% discount
imo not worth it if you are going to use it in India..no memory expansion slot/3G/TV out and to top it Googleplay content is still out of bounds in India..in this price range you could get a Ipad 2 or wait till Karbonn/Mircromax refresh their series next month...I was about to buy this tab last week only to talk myself out of it

Having a problem with my Iphone. I got Kindle on it. I could download the books I purchased using Amazon.com
But the problem's when I want to load .mobi files using itunes.
Two options: (both not working)
1) Menu 'Add files to' from 'Books' tab. I have 89 books already, when I try to add 5 .mobi files to it, I'm not seeing the new books nor the book count increase. But when I do the same for .epub/.pdf, it's working fine. I'm able to sync and get those on my iphone other than /mobi formats.
2) Trying to drop files on Apps in 'Apps' tab. I see the Apps from iphone after 'Sync' but it's not available to be clicked. IOW, I'm unable to click on 'Kindle' icon even if it's on the display.

Thanks Wizzy, I was assuming the price would be around 11 or 12K.. Might as well look for other tablets. What about Milagrow?
