Some counties / states tried to provide. Few of them backtracked as well.
However, one can walk into any McDonalds kind of establishment and use their free wi-fi.

No "pen" or sharp pressure for iPhone - actually, the touchscreen in phenomenal!
It won't function properly if you use your "nails" - I believe it works on thermal sensing and only "simple touch" will work
The only complaint I've ever heard about iPhones is the battery time - which is not an issue if one has a habit of plugging it to the power outlet each night.
Apple's touchscreen is "touch wood"
thanks na
I am going to get this iphone next month :P

And actually 3G is not available nationwide too. The 'Edge' network (in AT&T terms) is available everywhere except when you go hiking etc
And as a-e says, iPhone touchscreen is phenomenal. Nowadays all smartphones are multi-touch as in you can have more than one finger on the touchscreen to do different things. Pens/styluses are things of the past

Pens are made a things of past becos MSFT didnt take it right way. there were other factors which helped the msft tablet flop - bulky, heat, etc.
I actually see a need for stylus in both smartpones and tablets. Today, a graphic artist cant use them in a tablet or smartpone. He has to go ONLY to a PC with Mouse or graphic tablet
