    Actually the amputation scene isn't the reason why I'd skip it. I watched Salo twice. But it doesn't strike as a 'repeat viewing' film. Loved the visual metaphors though..

    Its hard to believe that the film was shot by two cinematographers. Stunning work!! Kudos to Danny too.
