Rajraj Sir, I often make panjamurtham, when I have special prayers in our house. Our children love it.
Thanks, Kugan98.

Omma water (kugan)
Friends, I accompanied my friend to go shopping.
I was surprized when she took about 4 to 5
bottles of the omma water. (Its about 250ml each bottle)
I asked her what she does with so many.
She told me that her children cannot go without the
omma water. For stomach pain, heart burn, acidity,
and even vommiting. She will give it to them.
Even her elderly parents need this omma water.
I asked her why don't you make your own.
I have heard that distilled omma water is the best.
It is very expensive. Commercially made ones,
use a type of chemical to do the water.
I told her how my grandma used to make her own.
OMMA WATER
Ingredients:
3 tsp omma seeds cleaned.
2 cups of water
Method:
Dry roast the ommam seeds, till you get a nice aroma.
add the roasted seeds to the water and bring to a slow boil. Boil well till the water reduces to 1 1/2 cups.
Cool and strain it.
You can give 1 tbs of this water when needed.

K, no functions this month... Kid is down with cold & mild stomach problem... So I don't come often... but I do read all the posts... just don't feel like posting anything...
BTW, how do we clean omam... I've heard tht it should be rubbed between the palms & blown some 7-8 times to remove the husk...is tht how u do it or is ur method diff?... & how long can we store this omam water?
