Sathya, Steven Waugh? Apart from the magnificent "Son, you dropped the World Cup" innings, I can't remember too many special ODI knocks. Since you have Bevan anyways, wouldn't a hard-hitting-Klusener mode all-rounder be more effective in the team?

also for his bowling and fighting spirit. Can consider aravinda / klusner / KP / Vettori / Hooper for that spot.

    ODI World XI

    Sachin Tendulkar - Enuff said
Adam Gilchrist - Very good even against good bowling attacks. Also an all-rounder as he allows us to play extra batsman or bowler.
Brian Lara - Big match player .
Aravinda De Silva - Was a fine player in ODIs. Apart from the usual specials, a couple from 2003 world cup - 90-odd in a hopeless losing cause against McGrath,Lee & co (World Cup winning bowling combination) and the 70-odd against SA on a difficult pitch (Match tied as SA didn't know how to read the DL sheet )
Inzamam ul-Haq - His pacing of the innings is less talked about. But during many chases he did it wonderfully. Has the ability to shift gears instantly and release pressure.
Michael Bevan - In an era where Taylor,Slater,et al left Aus in tatters at 40/3 or 50/3, Bevan was often their savior. Expert in pacing the chase.
Lance Klusener - Clean-hitter of the ball. Can bowl with some good pace as well.
    Shane Warne - Captain .
Wasim Akram - Sultan of Swing
Waqar Younis - Death over specalist. Has the most 5-fors in ODIs. I don't think anyone is going to beat that record.
Glenn McGrath - Miserly and picks early wickets. Very effective in picking wickets in the middle overs as well.
