If Sachin can't get an answer to these questions, he has to go."
"It affects everyone's form if Tendulkar keeps coming in and going out of one-day tournaments,"
seems Gangs doesn't think highly of Raina as a ODI player
"Every captain will feel that this player is more talented than the other. The point is he is too stuck on someone for too long because of his mindset. [Suresh] Raina has to go but the problem with Dhoni is that he is thinking too far ahead: the 2015 World Cup.
"I bet if Raina doesn't improve his technique then he is going to struggle in the 2015 World Cup in Australia. People are going to bounce him out. Nobody is going to pitch the ball up to him. The selectors will have to look at young players who can perform."
Rohit dig
Dhoni can't just jump and say these guys can't field so they are being rotated," Ganguly said. "If a guy who can field averages 15 on the tour, what sense does it make? We have to find a way to balance players and make a team."

^ ganguly's never had a good opinion on raina.....was always critical of him in england......guess he's trying desperately to get in tiwari....biased or not i feel it would be a good decision considering how raina and rohit have played this series

I hope Raina will play better in the remaining matches... he was good in England at least in the ODI series... give him some time to settle in.. he is already making 20s, 30s.. he can convert those scores..

Raina is playing international cricket for 6 or 7 years. his batting technique / style does not suit Test Cricket. He is best suited for 20-20 matches. He can follow the steps of Gayle..

@AS Tiwary handling of short pitch stuff would make Raina look like Lara Dhoni,Yuvi,Raina.Virat are indispensable in the position they play..rest we can keep on rotation
@CR We just won the worldcup becos of him....I would say he is the most destructive batsman in the position he plays in odi and any team would gladly swap him.

If Tendulkar wants to play next five years and scores 0 in all matches, you better select him. There wasn't much in indian cricket before Tendulkar. There won't be much after him. If he wants to muck around, give him the opportunity to. Indian Cricket is NOT bigger than Tendulkar
