    [tscii]My first recipe for the day.
    You can add or minus any ingredients.
    Kugan98


    HEALTHY VERMICELLI DISH

    Ingredients:

    1 cup of vermicelli
    2 tbs of shredded carrots
    2 tbs of sliced beans
    1 tbs of peas
    Little salt
    Little tumeric powder

    Little mustard seeds
    Little urad dal
    1 shallot sliced
    1 green chillie sliced
    Little ginger paste
    A pinc of asafetida
    ˝ tsp of oil

    Method:
    Dry roast the vermicelli, keep aside.
    Half boil the veges with little salt and tumeric powder.

    Heat a pot with the oil,
    Add in the mustard seeds, urad dal, shallot, ginger paste,
    green chillie and the asafetida.
    Sauté well, add in the boiled veges, and the roasted vermicelli.
    Add salt and enough water.
    Cover and cook on low flame for about 5 minutes.
    Stir and remove.
    A tasty, filling and nutritious dish

    As far as I know in vegetables, beet, carrots, celery,
    cucumber, green beans, onion, radish, spinach,
    lettuce, are low in calories.

    In fruits, apple, lime, papaya, orange, tomato, peach, pineapples
    are also low in calories.

    So we can safely add these veges in our healthy cooking.
    Also we can eat the fruits without guilty feeling
