ofcourse, idhai thAnE appOvum sonnOm. If we stricrly apply that living together is an offence and punishable, consider this delicious possibility.
Man A marries Woman A.
Man A is powerful
Man A finds another woman desirable
Man A "marries" Woman B also in addition
Man A has children and grand children from both lines.
Man A becomes more powerful. Woman A and Woman B are happy with each other.
Indian constitution says only one wife is recognised - so the other one is what?
Per your argument, Man A is culpable. avarai arrest paNNalAmA?
(Imagine evLO man As in our society will be arrested - appuram nAdALa, cricket veLayAda, cinemala nadikka yaaru minjuvAnga)

But that is his talent - adhai ellAm nAn koraiyE solla mAttEn. Adults consent - their wish - my stand on this is extreme. Actually, indha vishayathula MK is very enlightened, far beyond his followers. Infact, it is his misfortune to be saddled with followers who are not progressive enough as him. avangaLukkAga some of his actions he tailors to be conservativenu nenaikkarEn. As far as I understand, he is very liberal. Recent example is hindi songs for Ni folks

And yes, no where is extra marital affair a crime or offense.
Pls do not confuse religious/moral issues with legal ones.
Adults can and should live thier lives without the fear of laws intruding into thier personal lives.
* in all countries that have civil laws.
I beg to disagree with that. Adultery is a crime punishable by law. Premarital consensual sex is not, if there is no commercial intent involved.
If the secretary of the boss sleeps with a prospective customer to win some business, it is prostitution and is punishable under law. If the same boss's wife sleeps with the customer as she finds him attractive, then that is adultery and is also punishable under law. Funnily enough, under IPC Section 497, it is the unmarried man that is punishable and not the married woman.
However, if the boss's unmarried daughter sleeps with the same customer - then that is premarital consensual sex and is not illegal.
Assumption here is that this customer is unmarried too, of course.

Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.
