6.2 Oh we have been expecting you, Mr Swann. Once again he strikes in the first over of a new spell. And a classical dismissal too. Tossed up generously, pitches middle and leg, Thirimanne is looking leg side, closing the face, but the ball dips, and then turns away to beat the bat and take the off stump 8/2

8.1 Swann strikes again. And it's the big man MJ. Excellent bowling. Goes straght on after pitching on a length outside off. Jayawardene is expecting an offbreak that he can defend towards the vacant silly point region. This one doesn't turn, though, and takes the edge to first slip. England are right back into this one. I am loving this Test 14/3

18.6 got him! Swann strikes again and removes another left-hander. And it's an absolute beauty, producing an edge to gully. Classic off break bowling, drift in, forcing Sangakkara forward but he wasn't completely to the pitch, played a not great prod and edged to Bell who bagged a sharp chance to put England right back in the match 41/4

30.1 stumped! And England do strike before the close, as Samaraweera walks past one outside off stump and falls just before the close. It was a slider from Swann past the outside edge, Samaraweera was in a dreadful position, was done on the outside edge and stumped by a distance by a gleeful Matt Prior 72/5

50 adikkavE vazhiyai kaaNOm. They have been dismissed under 10 for 3-4 times in the last few matches.

ennaththa line-uppu? Except the Cook-Trott stand in Abidhabi, their top order has been pretty abysmal.

KP is proving to be veritable veththuvEttu. India was a blip, and not a comeback.

It was good to see Bell score today. Tomorrow will be a bigger challenge.
It may be down to Bell and Prior.

btw too many matches with 15+ wickets in a single day of late. No?

209E adhigam. idhu theriyAma sandhOshappattukittu irukkAinga.
Someone (Bell?) would have to play an innings like Jayawardena's for England to have a chance.
