Tamils should speak in "Tamil" with much - pride & dignity

The Tamils throughout the World - "should always endeavour to speak in Tamil Language" - with the other fellow Tamils.

The "God" or any "Prophet' or any "World Religion" - never said that it was "below the dignity" of the Tamils to speak in Tamil - with the other Tamils, but only in the "Elocution and accent filled English" having a false thinking that it is only then they will command the respect of the other Tamils in the Society, and be able to move forward in the elite circles as persons coming from "socially reformed Tamil families".

English is only a Language of communication used by us to converse with the other Communities of the World speaking different Languages, and to communicate with them in respect of Trade, Science, Technology, Social and Cultural Exchanges etc, and in securing Job opportunities in the other countries.

The technologically and socially very highly developed countries like France, Germany, Italy, Holland, Portugal, Spain, China, Russia, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc etc etc have given the "first place" to their native languages politically, technologically, and socially within their countries, and English Language only used as a communication Language with the outside world not familiar with their own native languages, and to gain more knowlege on the technological developments taking place in every field in the other countries, and to be up-todate by applying them in the development process of their own countries.

Hence the Tamils throughout the World, should shed their wrong thinking and respect the English Language - "only" as a universal communication Language and not as the Language of "Social Status among the Tamils"

Hence be proud - to talk and communicate with all Tamils throughout the World in Tamil Language, that too if possible in beautiful "Elocution Tamil", and to talk in English Language, "only" with those who have as their mother tongue a different Language other than Tamil, and thereby not knowing to converse in Tamil Language.

அருமையான, அவசியமான தலைப்பும் கூட. தமிழ் தெரிந்தவர்களிடம் தமிழில் மட்டுமே பேச வேண்டும் என்று அனைவரும் உறுதி கொள்ள வேண்டும். இலங்கைக்குச் செல்லும் போதெல்லாம் அங்கு பேசுகிற தமிழைக் கேட்பதற்கு மிகவும் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கும். எனக்கு மறந்து போன சொற்களையெல்லாம் நினைவு படுத்திக்கொள்ள ஒரு வாய்ப்பாக எடுத்துக் கொள்வேன்.
மும்பையில் உள்ள எங்களது உறவினர்கள் தமிழகம் வந்தால் இந்தியிலோ அல்லது ஆங்கிலத்திலோ தான் தங்களுக்குள் பேசிக் கொள்வார்கள். ஆனால் அமெரிக்காவில் இருந்து வரும் உறவினர்களோ தூய தமிழில் பேசுகிறார்கள். என்ன சொல்வது...??

புன்னை மாறன்,

சில நாட்களுக்கு முன் தமிழ் நாட்டில் இருக்கும் ஒரு நண்பருடன் பேச வாய்ப்புக்கிடைத்தது. அவருடன் பேசி சில வருடங்கள் ஆகிவிட்டதால் மிக மகிழ்வுடன் பழைய / தற்போதைய விவரங்கள் பற்றிய நீண்ட நேர தொலைபேசி உரையாடலாக அது அமைந்தது.

ஒரு வேடிக்கை - நான் எப்போதும் போல சாதாரணத்தமிழில் தான் பேசினேன். அவர் நான் அமெரிக்காவில் இருப்பதனாலோ அல்லது அவரது சூழல்கள் மாறியதாலோ தெரியவில்லை - 90% நேரம் ஆங்கிலத்திலும் அரிதாகவே தமிழிலும் பேசினார்.
