    I remember watching this movie on 1992 pongal in Avadi ramarathan theatre with my dad.....What a movie!!!!!

    I was wearing thalabathy belt....Though the movie was released in 1991 deepavalli...it took 75 days to reach avadi (from Ambattur Raaki or sri murugan to avadi)... this was the business strategy at the time...

    Rajini Cut Out Paintings

    I was always fasinated with the work done by cut out painting artists.
    Flashback : When we were living in Vadapalani, the market intersection where there were pot vendors (commonly known as Satti Panna Kadai), you find the cutout artists workshop. I would spend a lot of time with them gazing how a white canvas gets sketched and then coloured and finaly see Rajini smiling at me. Thier quickness and swiftness are the highlight, apart from being very near to perfection. Hats off to them.

    This Theatre is no more functioning... Hope u would have heard...
    Rumoured that 'SARAVANA STORES' is going to replace this theatre

    The Last movie I watched in this theatre was 'GHILLLI'

    I remember watching 'RAJATHI RAJA','UZHAPAALI' [Ofcourse, only in Re-release] in this theatre...
    Whenever there is power cut, they will take long time to switch to generator...
    'Yejamaan','MUTHU' in MEENATCHI...
    Watching Matinee show here will fully drench u with sweat...
    Now it is rennovated with A/c DTS...
