Tributes to Mandolin Maestro U. Srinivas. The shining star is no more

I can't believe Mandolin Srinivas is no more. He was a phenomenon and will forever remain in the hearts of millions.

As for Tamil Film Music, I am not sure if he played for any songs or BGM scores for any of our Music Directors, after he established himself as a professional musician.
The only connection that I am aware of, is the album he did for Ilaiyaraja. He played five of Ilaiyaraja's Carnatic compositions in Tamil and Sanskrit. Has he collaborated with other MDs like Rahman?
